GOOSE CREEK, S.C. – American Red Cross disaster-trained volunteers assisted a family whose home, located on Branchwood Drive in Goose Creek, was damaged by a fire Thursday morning.
The Red Cross is helping two people by providing financial assistance for immediate needs such as food, clothing, and shelter, along with referrals to much needed resources.
The American Red Cross shelters, feeds and provides emotional support to victims of disasters; supplies nearly half of the nation’s blood; teaches lifesaving skills; provides international humanitarian aid; and supports military members and their families.
