BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. – The Berkeley Chamber of Commerce, the leading voice for the greater Berkeley County business community, announced Wednesday the beginning of the rebranding of the Berkeley Chamber as the Business and Industry Advocate and releasing the new look with a new website and logo.
The new website features diverse photos and an updated interface designed to provide users with readily available information about businesses in Berkeley County while giving them a feel for the vibrant business climate.
The chamber’s new business advocacy program page keeps members updated with the latest developments on legislation affecting the local business community. The enhanced member center also allows members to post events to our calendar, manage their business listing, submit news, and press releases, submit job posts, and offer “Hot Deals” to fellow chamber members.
“The change is part of a “greater strategic vision to streamline initiatives and communicate a clear message that the Chamber’s focus is to address the needs and well-being of the business community” said Elaine Morgan, Berkeley Chamber CEO.
Todd Buddin, President Berkeley Chamber stated, “the Berkeley Chamber has always been an issue-oriented Chamber and our main focus is the needs of our industries and businesses. These concerns have become even more apparent during this year with our business and industries working through COVID-19 and the economic crisis.”
To assist with the message and to move to a more contemporary, pertinent, and progressive direction, the look of the chamber will be a transition. As the organization grows, the chamber said its focus may shift to redefine who and how it serves.
