BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. – Starting Monday, Feb. 21 through Feb. 27, drivers can expect intermittent lane and shoulder closures between Liberty Hall Road and Highway 52, within the project limits of the Henry Brown Boulevard Phase II Improvement Project.
The central work area will be focused on the section between Liberty Hall Road and Mevers School of Excellence. In order to reduce delays during peak commute hours, drivers dropping off students in the morning at the school are highly encouraged to access the school from the Highway 52 side of the project during the timeframe listed above.
Delays should be anticipated for commuters during peak times when higher traffic volumes are present.
Drivers are encouraged to pay close attention to construction signage for lane and/or shoulder closures but also note that construction equipment and crews may be working without the use of lane closures within certain areas of the project.
All work is weather-dependent and subject to change.
