BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. – The Berkeley County Coroner’s Office has identified the victim killed in a recent shooting along College Park Road.
Chief Deputy Coroner Darnell Hartwell said the victim is Alfredo Victorino Baltazar, 20, of Summerville.
According to the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office, shortly after 10:30 p.m. on April 14, deputies received a 911 call about a shooting victim at 1147 College Park Rd. in Summerville.
Responding deputies arrived and found Baltazar suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene, the sheriff’s office said.
Josue Gonzalez Campos, 18, of Florida has been charged in connection with the shooting.
How the two knew each other or the motive for the shooting was not immediately clear.
