Families in Berkeley County are encouraged to submit their applications with their home school member district to enroll their kindergarten-8th grade students in the Low Country Virtual (LCV) program.
LCV is a full-time online option that combines the structure of a traditional school with the flexibility of online learning. Low Country Virtual is a shared online program that operates across the districts of Beaufort, Berkeley, Charleston, Dorchester District 4, and Greenwood District 52.
It allows students to stay enrolled with their home school while attending virtually with Low Country Virtual.
Low Country Virtual is a great option for families looking for a more flexible and personalized learning environment. Parents and students are finding success with LCV, representatives with the online school said.
“I am very pleased with Low Country Virtual. I am so glad I made the decision to enroll my daughter. The teachers are fantastic and my daughter is so eager every day to go online and see her teachers and she is doing very well. I can’t say enough about the staff and teachers. They explain and take the time to make sure the children understand,” said Tracy Ali, a parent of an LCV student.
“LCV has been a great virtual program. All the teachers are always doing what is best for me. If I do not do something right, they will give me feedback so I can easily fix my mistake. It has been a very good school, said Ryan George, an LCV Student
As South Carolina families consider their children’s education options, Low Country Virtual (LCV) has opened enrollment for member districts for the 2023-202424 school year for K-8 Full Time virtual learning.
Families are encouraged to contact their home school Counselor, visit the Low Country Virtual website at lowcountryvirtual.org, or email [email protected] for information.
