GOOSE CREEK, S.C. – Food trucks from around the Lowcountry will be at Goose Creek city hall showcasing the best items on their menus this Saturday. Along with their most popular menu items each vendor will compete in our first-ever wing contest, according to city officials.
Attendees will be given two tickets at the ticket booth near the stage to use to vote for their favorite wings. The vendor with the most tickets will win the People’s Choice Award.
Other contest categories consist of “Most Original”, Mayor’s Choice and the overall Cookin’ in the Creek Champion. Awards will be announced at a future date.
Admission and parking are free. Free children’s games, GCPD K-9 shows, music and touch-a-truck vehicles will all be onsite.
The fun kicks off at 519 N Goose Creek Blvd. in Goose Creek from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
