HANAHAN, S.C. – The 3rd annual Lowcountry Juneteenth Week Festival is returning for another exhilarating week-long celebration of freedom, culture and community.
The highlight of the festival will take place in Berkeley County on Friday, June 16, with a tribute concert that honors hip hop music from the last 50 years. The Hanahan Amphitheater will be filled with the electrifying beats of hip hop legends Goodie Mob, featuring CeeLo Green.
Attendees will be treated to an unforgettable night of music and entertainment, and one lucky winner will even have the chance to win a Jeep Wrangler.
Wrapping up the festival with a bang, the Hanahan Amphitheater will also transform into a vibrant hub of food, music, and fun on Saturday, June 17. Attendees can indulge in delicious local cuisine, groove to live music performances and soak in the joyous atmosphere of this grand finale celebration.

- Tuesday, June 13: In partnership with Middleton Place Foundation and Beacon Bank, Lowcountry Juneteenth Week Festival pays homage to living Lowcountry legends, Lonnie Hamilton III and Judge Arthur McFarland. The history makers will be honored at the 3rd annual LJW Honors Luncheon at the beautiful Middleton Place Pavilion.
- Wednesday, June 14: The First Baptist of James Island Church Choir, Ashley Hale, The AshPel Heirs, and more take the stage at the First Baptist Church of James Island for a captivating gospel concert. This soul-stirring performance will uplift spirits and celebrate the power of faith and music.
- Thursday, June 15: The Lowcountry Juneteenth Week Festival will pay tribute to community leaders who have made an indelible impact. The LJW Honors: Legacy in Black ceremony, to be held at The Wonderer, will honor esteemed individuals such as Reggie Burgess, Laurence LJ Huger, Attorney Thad Doughty, Kenya Dunn and Carlos Dunlap Jr. Their contributions to the community and culture will be celebrated in a memorable evening of recognition and appreciation.
