GOOSE CREEK, S.C. – Keeping with its theme as an all-inclusive park, Goose Creek city officials announced Wednesday the launch of Therapeutic Thursdays at Central Creek Park.
“We could not be more excited,” Goose Creek’s recreation department posted to Facebook.
Starting June 15 through Nov. 16, the park will give people in the special needs community a chance to enjoy Debra’s Playground and Splash Creek privately. Friends and family are also welcome during this dedicated time in the park, city officials said.
Therapeutic Thursdays will take place on the third Thursday of every month from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The 13-acre park, which opened last year, was built to ensure residents of all ages and abilities have access to fun, high-quality experiences that provide the chance to develop a fit and healthy lifestyle.
