BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. – Former Berkeley County supervisor Dan Davis has died, according to his obituary.
He passed away Tuesday in Hanahan at age 72.
Visitation will take place Tuesday, June 20 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at J Henry Stuhr Northwoods, which is at 2180 Greenridge Road in North Charleston. Funeral services will take place the following day at the funeral home from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Internment will follow at Carolina Memorial Gardens.

First elected in 2007, Davis served as county supervisor for eight years. In 2014, He lost re-election to former Moncks Corner mayor Bill Peagler. Johnny Cribb, who previously served as Hanahan’s administratory, is Berkeley County’s current supervisor.
