PINEVILLE, S.C. – This week marked the one-year anniversary that a Pineville woman living with dementia vanished without a trace. However, the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office still clings to hope that someone can shed light on Ruth Jenkins’ disappearance.
“There have been rumors circulating on social media about the case. Any information regarding the case will come DIRECTLY from Berkley County,” the sheriff’s office posted Monday to Facebook. “Currently, there are no persons of interest and foul play is not suspected.”
Jenkins was last seen on July 16 around 2 p.m. walking in the 1800 block of Highway 45 in the Pineville area.
