Representatives from state and county agencies will be participating.  Each panelist will explain their grant programs, basic funding criteria, and the “ins and outs” of applying.  A Question and Answer period will follow presentations.

“Nonprofits in Berkeley County and the Lowcountry are eligible to apply for funding from our guest presenters (Berkeley County and South Carolina funders). The inaugural Meet the Funders collaboration will serve as an introduction to valuable information from multiple state agencies in one event,” said Shanda Phillips, chairman of the Berkeley County Museum and Heritage Center. Recently the museum was awarded a $50,000 Site Grant from the SC 250 Commission.

Hosting this event are the SC 250 Commission and the Berkeley County 250.
