Elderly Woman Dies After Striking Several Trees In Goose Creek

BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. The Berkeley County Coroner’s Office has identified an elderly driver who died at a local hospital following a Thursday crash.

Coroner Darnell Hartwell said the driver was traveling on Crowfield Boulevard and left the roadway and struck several trees.

The victim has been positively identified as Clydie Jean Gold, 82, from Ladson. 

Goose Creek Fire & EMS also responded to this incident. 

The Berkeley County Coroner’s Office and the Goose Creek Police Dept are investigating.
