GOOSE CREEK, S.C. – Goose Creek firefighters are looking to spread some holiday cheer to children in need this Christmas. This Saturday, they’ll collect toys for the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve’s Toys for Tots program.
“Make a child’s Christmas brighter by donating a new, unwrapped toy,” the Goose Creek Fire Department posted to its official Facebook page.
The toy drive will take place from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Walmart Super Center. The address is 605 St. James Avenue.
At Christmas, Toys for Tots coordinators, with the assistance of local social welfare agencies, church groups, and other local community agencies, will distribute the toys to less fortunate children in the community.
