MONCKS CORNER, S.C. – A popular restaurant chain known for its drive-thru BBQ, burgers and more than 40 milkshake flavors has plans to open its first Berkeley County location later this year.
Launched in 1989 and headquartered in North Carolina, Cook Out is expected to open a restaurant by summer 2024 across from Arby’s in Moncks Corner and adjacent to Applebee’s.
According to its website, the Moncks Corner restaurant will be located at 646 Rembert C. Dennis Blvd. Property records show the company purchased the 1.2 acres to build the restaurant for $600,000 in 2020.
Cook Out already has more than 40 restaurants throughout South Carolina, including locations in Summerville, North Charleston, Mt. Pleasant and Charleston.
The privately-owned fast food restaurant chain also has many other locations in North Carolina, Maryland, Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia, Virginia, Mississippi, West Virginia and Kentucky. To learn more about the company and its menu, click here.
