BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. – A portion of Hwy. 176 near Roper St. Francis Berkeley Hospital temporarily closed due to a gas leak has reopened, according to Berkeley County officials.
Drivers were asked to avoid the area for several hours as emergency crews worked to fix the problem.
The road reopened around 2:30 p.m.
