HUGER, S.C. – The Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for help with locating a man wanted for three felony warrants.

His name is TyReik Lamont Frazier, 25, of Steed Creek Road in Huger.

According to BCSO, on Aug. 19, a deputy was patrolling the area of South Live Oak Drive and Highway 176 when he conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for failing to maintain its lane.

When Frazier made the turn, the deputy was able to get a good look at his face. The chase continued until Frazier’s brakes caught fire and he was unable to stop at the intersection of 3rd Avenue and North Main Street.

He wrecked out onto a dirt pad and into a small puddle where the suspect vehicle became inoperable. Frazier then fled from the vehicle on foot.

Frazier’s vehicle was towed from the scene and deputies located a stolen Glock 43 in the driver’s floorboard of the vehicle.

Frazier currently has outstanding warrants for failure to stop for blue lights, possession of a stolen firearm and habitual traffic offender. If anyone knows of the whereabouts of Frazier, you are asked to contact Berkeley County at 843-719-4169.
