BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. – The Berkeley County Coroner’s Office is requesting the public’s help identifying a man found dead in Summerville nearly a year ago.
According to the Berkeley County Coroner’s Office, the unidentified man was found in the College Park Road area on Sept. 29, 2023.
Coroner Darnell Hartwell said the deceased possibly frequented the area and the Red Oak Circle neighborhood in Summerville.
He is possibly considered Hispanic or Native American, 45-70 years of age, gray hair, approximately 5’6 and 155-175 lbs.
When he was found, he was wearing a maroon in color University of South Carolina Gamecocks baseball-style hat and eyeglasses.
The coroner’s office recently received a sketch drawing from a SLED forensic artist. Anyone with information or who has concerns regarding a missing person that fits this description is asked to call the Berkeley County Coroner’s Office at 843-719-4566
