BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. – Easter is just around the corner, and it’s time to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus with family-friendly activities that honor the holiday’s Christian roots. Just like a chick hatches from an egg, Easter eggs symbolize new life. For Christians, this mirrors Jesus rising from the tomb—a powerful image of rebirth and hope.
Berkeley County is hosting a variety of Easter egg hunts that blend fun with the spirit of the season. Here’s your guide to several upcoming egg hunts in the area:
Old Santee Canal Park Easter Egg Hunt – Moncks Corner
- Date & Time: April 12, with gates opening at 9 a.m. The egg hunt starts at 10 a.m.
- Location: 900 Stony Landing Road, Moncks Corner, SC
- Details: The price is $5 per person, and children 1 and under are free. Photos with the Easter Bunny, face painting by The Messy Hummingbird, and petting zoo by Muddy Bottom Farm, and jump castles by Happily Ever After Jumps LLC are included! Food and drinks will be available for purchase from Diddy’s Donuts and Coffee, LLC and The Ice Cream Team.
Spring Egg-stravaganza Spring Festival – Moncks Corner
- Date & Time: Saturday, April 12, 11 a.m.
- Location: 211 East Main Street, Moncks Corner, SC
- Details: Hosted by Vintiques Artisan Market, this family-friendly event will include a special appearance by the Easter Bunny, games and prizes, an egg hunt, music and entertainment and delicious food.
West Farm’s 1st Annual Easter Egg Hunt – Moncks Corner
- Date & Time: Saturday, April 19, 2025, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
- Location: 1542 Cooper Store Rd., Moncks Corner, SC
- Details: Enjoy unlimited rides on the Moo-Moo Barrel Train, a petting zoo, arts and crafts, photos with the Easter Bunny, pony rides and delicious food. Tickets are limited and can be purchased at this link.
HOP-tastic Easter Event – Moncks Corner
- Date & Time: April 12, from 10 a.m. -2 p.m.
- Location: Cypress Gardens, 3030 Cypress Gardens Rd, Moncks Corner, SC
- Details: While there is no mention of an egg hunt, there will be crafts for the kids, as well as local vendors and food trucks. Don’t forget to bring a camera to snap a photo with the Easter Bunny!
Good Friday Egg Hunt at the Market Pavilion – Moncks Corner
- Date & Time: April 18, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
- Location: 418 East Main Street, Moncks Corner, SC
- Details: Hosted by The Corner Church, the event will include free food, live music, and, of course, an egg hunt.
