SUMMERVILLE, S.C.–Dorchester County deputies say they have identified a suspect wanted for the shooting death of a Goose Creek man over the weekend.
Investigators say Thomas Robert Shewtzuk, 18, has ties to Berkeley County and is now wanted for murder.
They say he has previously lived in Moncks Corner and Summerville.
On the morning of June 13th 2015, deputies responded to the BP Quick Food Mart located at 2703 Highway 17-A South near Summerville for a possible shooting.
Once deputies and medics arrived on scene, they say they found Travis Gordon of Goose Creek dead from apparent gunshot wounds.
Deputies say a warrant for murder has been obtained for Shewtzuk’s arrest.
Shewtzuk’s last known address is 117 Sawmill Court in Summerville. Deputies say he stands 5-foot-6 and weighs approximately 140 pounds. They also added that the teen has brownish hair but may have recently shaved it.
He is also said to have tattoos on both the right and left hands and arms and a tattoo on the upper part of his left chest.

Deputies say the suspect should be considered armed and dangerous.
