Johnson was pronounced dead at the scene.
The coroner stated that he was entrapped in his car and was removed by the fire dept and was wearing his seatbelt.
The dump truck driver was transported to a local hospital with non-life threating injuries.
The accident was investigated by the Berkeley County Coroner and the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
