BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C.–The Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect of an armed robbery that occurred on January 24th at the Kangaroo convenience store, located at 1044 Red Bank Road in Goose Creek.
During the morning hours of January 24th, Sheriff’s deputies responded to an armed robbery at the Kangaroo convenience store.
At approximately 8:35 AM, they say a black man entered the store wearing a gray hoodie sweatshirt with “Swamp Foxes” on the front.
After several other customers left the store, the suspect presented a black semi-automatic pistol and demanded money from the clerk. The suspect then fled the store on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Investigators are asking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect from images taken from a store surveillance camera.
