Deputies Arrest Man Accused Of Exposing Himself To Woman Inside Store

BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C.–The Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a man accused of exposing himself to a woman inside a Moncks Corner thrift store recently.

On August 4th, the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a sexual exposure at the Goody’s by Grace Thrift Shop located on South Live Oak Drive.

The female victim stated that a white male with sandy blonde hair and blue eyes entered her store looking for men’s clothing. She stated that after being in the store and looking around, she then felt a presence behind her.

Once she turned around, she said she observed the male subject standing behind her exposing his penis to her. She stated that she began yelling at the subject and that he left the store, authorities stated.

She was able to follow him as he entered his vehicle She was able to get a clear photograph of the suspect’s vehicle license plate.

After investigating the case, detectives from the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office were able to identify the suspect as Christopher Lawrence Connor, a 37 year old male from Moncks Corner. Mr. Connor was contacted and turned himself in to the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office. Mr. Connor has been charged with Indecent Exposure.
