BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C.–On Monday, August 29th, 2016 agents from the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Drug Enforcement Unit say they worked a complaint regarding illegal narcotics sales from the management office at the Sineath Estates Mobile Home Community located at 9160 Wistiria Drive in Ladson.
Deputies say after agents conducted a controlled buy of heroin from the location, a search warrant was executed. The search warrant resulted in the seizure of:
• 7 gross grams of a crystal like substance that did field test presumptive for methamphetamine
• misc. drug paraphernalia
• 4.2 gg of a tan powdery substance that did field test positive for Heroin
Subsequent to the search warrant at the Wistiria Drive location, authorities say another search was conducted at an address on Luke Lane in Ladson.
Seized during that search were the following items:
• 3 pistols
• 1 sawed off shotgun
• misc. drug paraphernalia
• 66 gross grams of a clear crystal like substance that did field test presumptive for methamphetamines
• misc. prescription medications
• .3 gross grams of a white powdery substance that did field test presumptive for cocaine
• 61 gross grams of a green plant material that did field test presumptive for marijuana
• 11 gross grams of a tan powdery substance that did field test presumptive for heroin
Scott Baisden of Wilhite Drive in Ladson was arrested and charged with the following:
