HANAHAN, S.C.–Shortly before 5 a.m. Friday, Hanahan Police responded to 5804 Carolyn Street, Pappy’s Restaurant, in
reference to an armed robbery.
When they arrived to the location, a female employee told police that two men entered the restaurant dressed in all black clothing and black scarves over their faces.
One suspect had a sawed off shotgun and the other had what appeared to be a silver revolver.
According to the victim, the suspect with the revolver went toward the kitchen area while the other suspect with the sawed off shotgun pointed the weapon at her, demanding that she give him the money from the cash register.
The suspect was apparently aware that there was a second drawer as well and ordered her to give him the money from in there, also.
Once the suspects had the money, police say they both fled on foot down Carolyn street.
Police searched the area using K9 but did not locate the suspects.
