GOOSE CREEK, S.C.–On Friday, Goose Creek Police responded to the Sunoco gas station on Saint James Avenue in response to an armed robbery.
When officers arrived, they say they found the victim sitting in the driver’s seat with a towel to his head, and bleeding heavily from the left temple area of his head. The victim then proceeded to tell police that he was robbed.
Medics arrived on scene and began treating the victim.
The victim told officers that two men, who were armed with a handgun, opened the victim’s car door, demanded his money and then struck him multiple times in the head. The victim was left with a four inch laceration to the left side of his head.
According to the police report, the victim says the suspects took his wallet which contained his Heritage Trust debit card, driver’s license, veterans car and commissary card.
The victim told officers that the suspects took off on foot.
A search of the area turned up empty.
