HUGER, S.C.–According to Berkeley County Coroner Bill Salisbury, one person is dead and another injured following a crash on Highway 41 in Huger on Saturday.
On Saturday, Edward Beaufort-Cutner III, 31, of Huger, was traveling north on highway 41 in Huger when he ran off the right side of the roadway and struck several trees.
He was pinned in the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene, Salisbury stated.
The female passenger was transported to a local hospital. Her condition is unknown.
Both were wearing seatbelts.
The traffic accident is being investigated by the Berkeley County Coroner’s Office and the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
