BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C.–Another person has lost their life in a traffic accident on Cainhoy Road in less than a week.
On Saturday Dontez Jarell Wigfall, 24, of Cainhoy ran off the right side of the road and overturned several times.
He was ejected from his sedan and was not wearing a seatbelt, according to Berkeley County Coroner Bill Salisbury.
The accident happened at 10:10 pm, and he was pronounced dead at the scene shortly thereafter.
The Berkeley County Coroner’s Office and the SC Highway Patrol are investigating the accident.
This is the second traffic fatality in two days on Cainhoy Road.
Just one day earlier, Kenneth Tuten, 19, of Cordesville was on his way to work traveling on Cainhoy Road in Huger when his SUV ran off the right side of the roadway and struck a tree.
