BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C.–A Mount Pleasant woman has died following a traffic accident over the weekend in Berkeley County.
On Sunday, Coroner Bill Salisbury stated that a passing motorist on Halfway Creek Road noticed a single vehicle accident and reported it to a 911 dispatcher.
According to the coroner, Courtney Leann Adams was traveling northeast when her SUV ran off the right side of the roadway and overturned.
She was pronounced dead on the scene by Chief Deputy Coroner George Oliver.
The accident was investigated by the Berkeley County Coroner and the SC Highway Patrol. She was wearing a seatbelt.
