HUGER, S.C. – Two people have died following a fatal crash in the Huger area, according to Berkeley County Coroner George Oliver.
On Friday, at approximately 8:27 am, Oliver said that two vehicles collided on Hwy. 41 near Ganthill Ln. in Huger.
Both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene.
One of the drivers, identified as Leo Manning, 84, of Dillon, SC, was not wearing a seat belt, the coroner stated.
The second driver was identified as Jason Casselman, 38, of Goose Creek was wearing a seat belt.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol and the Berkeley County Coroner’s Office is investigating.
