GOOSE CREEK, S.C. – A fatal Goose Creek shooting at a home on Adeline Drive has left a second teen dead, according to Berkeley County Coroner George Oliver.
The victim, Dylan Newby, 17, died at an area hospital Wednesday morning after someone shot him on October 13, 2019.
According to Goose Creek police, at 8:53 p.m. officers responded to the 300-block of Adeline Drive in the Boulder Bluff subdivision following reports of gunshots.
Upon their arrival, police say they located Newby and 18-year-old Roy Calhoun III in the side yard of the residence.
Calhoun was pronounced dead on the scene. Newby died several days later at the hospital.
At this time, police have not identified any suspects and the case or a possible motive.
