BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. – A Berkeley County mother is breathing a sigh of relief now that her 9-year-old son is safe and sound thanks, in part, to a smart-thinking BCSO Bloodhound.
On Monday, Deputy Tim Davidson responded to Harpers Ferry Lane in the Summerville portion in reference to a missing boy who had not been seen for two hours.
Deputy Davidson arrived on scene with one of his K-9 partners, Lalo. The mother of the missing 9-year-old provided a shirt that was recently worn by the missing child.
K-9 Lalo was then able to quickly track and locate the child at another house within the neighborhood and he was returned safe and sound to his mother.
