Berkeley Co. deputies investigate Sheep Island area murder

BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C.–Shortly after 9:00 a.m. Friday morning, Dan Moon, spokesperson for the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office, says officers responded to 917 Bushy Lane where they found the body of a 59-year-old woman inside a home.

Shortly after 9:00 AM this morning, the Berkeley County Sheriff's Office responded to 917 Bushy Lane, in the Sheep Island area of the county, just north of Summerville.  Deputies found the body of a 59-year-old woman inside the residence.

The victim’s identity has not yet been released by the coroner’s office.

Moon says the sheriff’s office is investigating the death as a homicide and added that a person of interest is being sought in the case.

He says the person that deputies  want to question is man by the name of Lee Bradley.   He’s described as 5′ 6″ tall and weights approximately 155 lbs.

Moon said that the victim’s vehicle is missing from the residence and that Bradley is believed to be driving her dark blue Chevrolet Blazer with tag number: EJV 919.

Bushy Lane is located in the Sheep Island area of the county,  just north of Summerville.
