$50K Reward Offered After Mail Carrier Robbed In Summerville

SUMMERVILLE, S.C. – The United States Postal Service is offering a reward of up to $50,000 for information leading to the arrest of a man accused of robbing a mail carrier.

According to the USPS, the crime happened June 8 around 5:20 p.m. at 1940 Old Trolley Road in Summerville.

A manhunt ensued; however, the suspect managed to get away. Surveillance video shows the suspect running in a ski mask and black hat with a gun in his hand.

The suspect is described as a young black male with a medium build. He should be considered armed and dangerous, authorities said.
