GOOSE CREEK, S.C. – Police arrested a grandmother and mother following a dispute involving a gun outside a Goose school Monday morning.
Just before 8 a.m., the Goose Creek Police Department dispatched officers to Westview Primary School for a verbal argument between parents, , which led to one person pulling out a pistol.
During an investigation, police said they determined the incident involved two vehicles and three people. The aggressors of the incident, both in the same vehicle, were grandmother Alonyna Green, 43, and mother, Antonashia Gadsden, 24.
Police said Gadsden exited the passenger’s side of the vehicle and confronted another female driver. Green then exited the driver’s side of the vehicle and approached along with Gadsden. At this point, Gadsden pulled out a pistol at the victim of the other vehicle.
Police said the victim was able to identify the pistol as a purple handgun. During a search of the suspect’s vehicle, a purple Ruger was found, which Gadsden admitted belonged to her. A second pistol was in a purse that Green admitted belonged to her.
Both were arrested and transported to Berkeley County Detention Center pending warrants. Below are the pending charges:
