GOOSE CREEK, S.C. – The Goose Creek Police Department said it will conduct multiple traffic safety checkpoints in the city over the next few days through New Year’s Day.
The checkpoints will take place at the following locations on the following dates:
- Dec. 29, Dec. 30: Montague Plantation Road near Trident Baptist; Thomason Boulevard; Hwy. 176 and Okatee Drive.
- Dec. 30, Dec. 31: Old State Road at Marion Avenue; Old Moncks Corner Road at Central Creek Park; Hwy. 17A at 3rd Avenue.
- Dec. 31, Jan. 1: Liberty Hall at Birch Hollow; Howe Hall Road at Howe Hall Aims; Foster Creek Road near Snake Road
According to GCPD, alternate locations include Crowfield Boulevard at Stratford High School, Hwy. 176 and Hwy. 17A at Roper Hospital, and Henry Brown Boulevard at Mevers School of Excellence.
