Goose Creek Police Arrest Oklahoma Man on Child Solicitation Charges

GOOSE CREEK, S.C. โ€” An Oklahoma man is facing felony charges in South Carolina after Goose Creek Police Department investigators arrested him in an Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) case involving the alleged solicitation of a minor.

South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson announced the arrest of 20โ€‘yearโ€‘old Brantly Leon Griffin, of Choctaw, Oklahoma, on two charges connected to the sexual exploitation of a minor.

According to investigators, Griffin solicited a minor for sex and sent sexually explicit images to the victim. Goose Creek Police, who serve as members of the stateโ€™s ICAC Task Force, led the investigation and made the arrest on March 18, 2026.

Griffin is charged with one count of criminal solicitation of a minor, a felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison, and one count of disseminating obscene material to a person under 18, also punishable by up to 10 years.

The South Carolina Attorney Generalโ€™s Office will prosecute the case.

Wilson emphasized that all defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
