MACEDONIA, S.C. – Macedonia High School alumni and community members will gather at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2026, for MHS: 30 Years Later — A Day of Remembrance.

The commemorative event will take place on the grounds of Macedonia Middle School, 200 Macedonia Foxes Circle in Moncks Corner. This announcement also serves as an official invitation to attend.

The gathering will provide an opportunity to celebrate the lasting legacy of Macedonia High School, remember classmates, teachers and staff members, and reflect on the school and community that helped shape generations of students.

“This event is about honoring where we came from and remembering the people who made Macedonia High School feel like home,” said Sandy Wilson, reunion committee president. “Although the original school building is gone, the memories, relationships and Foxes spirit remains strong.”

Former students are encouraged to bring classmates, family members, photographs, stories and memories to share. Members of neighboring communities are also invited to attend. Organizers hope the event will provide a meaningful space for reflection, fellowship, laughter and remembrance.

For many alumni, Macedonia High School was more than a school. It was a place where lifelong friendships were formed, valuable lessons were learned and a strong sense of community was built. Thirty years later, that connection continues through the people who carry its history and traditions forward.
