HANAHAN, S.C.—In Berkeley County, we dread cold weather. Anything below 70 degrees is unacceptable. Unfortunately, in a matter of 24 hours, the weather has gone from pleasant to downright cold.
However, there ‘may’ be a pretty good explanation for the sudden drop in temperature.
While on patrol Monday, Hanahan Police noticed a blonde chick in a fancy dress getting a little too close to Hanahan Town Hall’s beautiful water fountain.
Upon further investigation, police watched as this unidentified woman appeared to cast a spell. Immediately, the fountain turned to ice and a cold front quickly moved into the lowcountry.
Cops later identified the culprit as Elsa. (Although, she insisted they call her the “Snow Queen.”)
Police say she tried to blame her sister Anna for the chilly weather, but cops could see right through her lies.
Elsa was placed in handcuffs and transported to the Hill Finklea Detention Center in Moncks Corner where she is currently awaiting a bond hearing.
When asked why she brought this brutal cold front to the lowcountry, Elsa replied “no comment.”
Two months ago, Elsa and her sister appeared with the Berkeley Co. Rescue Squad in Christmas parades for both Hanahan and Moncks Corner.
Members described Elsa as a “sweet girl” and taken aback by her arrest. It’s unclear if they’ll appear with squad members in next year’s parade.
