GOOSE CREEK, S.C.–Around 9 p.m. Saturday, firefighters were dispatched to an overturned vehicle on Branchwood Drive inside an apartment complex that bares the same name. The complex is located right off of St. James Avenue.
When crews arrived they found an overturned white car with a man still inside. The man was reportedly unconscious. An ambulance transported him to MUSC.
Fire crews reported that the car had been speeding inside the complex resulting in the driver losing control of the car.
No word on the condition of the patient at this time. His injuries reportedly did not appear to be life threatening.
According to fire fighters, statements were made that the driver was having an argument with his girlfriend which may have led to the accident.
