Due to forecasted impacts of Hurricane Helene, Berkeley County School District (BCSD) students will learn from home and complete eLearning Day assignments on Friday

According to BCSD officials, this decision comes after recent severe weather and flooding prevented access to school buildings for three days

All extracurricular activities, athletics, and school programs are currently suspended Friday, August 9. BCSD leaders urge staff to stay off of the roads.

Berkeley County School District will enter the 2024-2025 school year with 32 schools benefiting from the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Community Eligibility Program (CEP).

All extracurricular activities, athletics, and school programs are canceled Tuesday, August 6; Wednesday, August 7; and Thursday, August 8.

The Berkeley 250 Frances Marion Commission will host a free public event on Aug. 15th featuring noted author and historian Bill Segars in conjunction with the Daniel Island Historical Society.
