The Berkeley County Coroner’s Office has identified a pedestrian fatally struck by a vehicle over the weekend.

After a multi-day search, Charles Britt Jr. was arrested. He was arrested on Monday, January 29 at approximately 2 a.m.

Berkeley County deputies are looking for 24-year-old Charles Edward Britt, Jr., of Tea Rose Lane in St. Stephen.

According to police, Mirna Elizabeth Chen Pop, 17, left her home during the early morning hours on Dec. 12, 2023.
