Betty Louise Wright Dupree, 83, of Moncks Corner, SC, died Sunday morning at the Roper Hospice Cottages.

Her funeral will be 1:00 PM Friday afternoon, April 8, 2022, at the First Pentecostal Holiness Church of Goose Creek. Interment will follow in the Mt. Calvary Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery, directed by Dial-Murray Funeral Home, Moncks Corner. Flowers will be accepted or the family requests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, 5900 Core Road, Suite 504, North Charleston, SC, 29406.

Mrs. Dupree was born June 13, 1938, in Moncks Corner, SC, a daughter of Eppie Wright and Julia Ann Mills Wright. She was a member of the First Pentecostal Holiness Church of Goose Creek and enjoyed listening to gospel music. She also enjoyed the music of Conway Twitty, Elvis Presley, and Dolly Parton. Mrs. Dupree liked traveling to the mountains and enjoyed flowers and gardening. Among other things, she enjoyed tending to her fish aquariums and watching scary movies, and she always wanted to look her "best". Mrs. Dupree was predeceased by a daughter, Johnette Bradley, six sisters, and two brothers. She was the widow of John Howard Dupree.

Surviving are five daughters; Juanita Hayes and her husband, Martin, of Moncks Corner, Diann Fasnacht and her husband, Trent, of Summerville, Peggy Nobles and her husband, Wade, of Cordesville, Brenda Myers of Bethera, and Jeanie Causey and her husband, Herman, of Wando; two sons, Jackie Dupree and his wife, Sharon, of Macedonia, and Johnny Bradley and his wife, Maria, of Cordesville; eighteen grandchildren, Kayla Hayes, Cassandra Johnson, Adrian Still, Covington Olds, Tatiana Fasnacht, Kenneth Nobles, Jr., Crystal Rooks, Michael Scott Bradwell, Melissa Myers, Rainey Causey, Paul Causey, Ethan Causey, Jackie Dean Dupree, John Alan Dupree, Israel Villasin, Dave Villasin, Elain Miller, and Timothy Bridges; twenty great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
