BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C.–Nineteen Berkeley Middle College students completed associate degree and/or certificate programs at Trident Technical College almost a month before graduating from high school.
Principal of Berkeley Middle College, Claire Freeman, said, “Our school staff joins me in saluting our thirteen Associate Degree recipients and six Pre-Nursing Certification students in the Berkeley Middle College Class of 2016. Each and every Middle College student works hard, and these nineteen students pushed themselves to break barriers and achieve goals that many only dream of…and they met their goals, walking in the Trident Technical College commencement ceremony and receiving a college certification or degree nearly a month before they will receive high school diplomas. They are remarkable young men and women who exhibit every quality of the Profile of a South Carolina Graduate and who will do great things in this world.”
