GOOSE CREEK, S.C.–GCPD is seeking the public’s assistance with the identity of an individual suspected of stealing approximately $2,700 in coins from the pool table and various arcade games at the Royal Lanes Bowling Center.
Royal Lanes’ owner notified GCPD on March 9th and provided the attached image from the in-house surveillance system.
Police says the video shows the suspect entering the pool table area and breaking into one of the pool tables. The suspect returns to his vehicle, comes back into the business to ask for change at the front desk. The suspect enters the arcade game area and breaks into several arcade games.
“I observed the suspect “play” two of the crane games during the process of breaking into the machines,” stated an officer in the incident report. “I gathered a DNA sample from the joysticks of each machine that the suspect played.”
