BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C.–Mount Pleasant Police are still looking for a driver who led them on a high speed chase into Berkeley Co. on Monday morning.
According to officer, shortly before 10:30 a.m., an officer started chasing after the driver of a vehicle after he failed to stop. The officer was reportedly trying to stop the driver for reckless driving on Highway 17 near Oakland Market.
Officers say the driver refused to stop the vehicle. The chase ended along Highway 41 in Berkeley County.
There, officers found the vehicle on Green Bay Road; however, the driver was no where to be found.
Police say the investigation is ongoing.
