MONCKS CORNER, S.C.–Moncks Corner Police needs the public’s help identifying the man seen in the photos they say stole from the Moncks Corner Walmart on U.S. Highway 52 on Tuesday.
According to an incident report, eyewitnesses say within ten minutes of the man entering the store, he left with a Vizio flat screen television valued at $378.
Store employees attempted to stop the man but say he fled across the parking lot.
Police say he left the area in a 1990’s GMC Sonoma King Cab pickup. Witnesses say they couldn’t make out the vehicles tag number because it was covered with a piece of cardboard.
The man is said to be about 5’10’’ in height and weighs approximately 200 pounds. Police say he was wearing a black “Dark Side of the Moon” t-shirt.
If you have any information, you’re asked to call Crime Stoppers at (843) 554-1111 or the Moncks Corner Police Department at 843-719-7960.
