MONCKS CORNER, S.C. – The Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a woman in connection with a recent homicide.
Shannon Ann Bonilla, 49, is facing murder charges, according to the sheriff’s office. She was arrested Monday night.
Deputies responded to an area off of Highway 78, Friday evening, in reference to a possible deceased person.
Once deputies arrived on scene, they said they were able to discover the body that was buried in an area behind 119 College Park Road.
The Berkeley County Coroner’s Office identified the deceased as Jonathan Michael Jones, 35, of Walterboro.
