BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C.–According to Berkeley Co. Sheriff’s Office Spokesperson Dan Moon, officers with the department’s drug enforcement unit have arrested four people on methamphetamine charges.
This makes the second meth bust in less than a week for the sheriff’s office.
Moon says after receiving information concerning a possible meth lab, deputies obtained a search warrant for 107 Blondell Lane, Moncks Corner.
There, in plain view, deputies say they observed components of a meth lab along with approximately eight gross grams of methamphetamine.
Moon says arrested were the homeowner Mark Johnson, 51, Gina Stock, 44, Russell Thomas, 33, and Joshua Talbert, 32.
All four are being held at the Hill-Finklea Detention Center on charges of manufacturing meth and possession of meth.
