GOOSE CREEK, S.C.–According to the Goose Creek Police Department, officers responded to 200 Foster Creek Road in reference to the report of a suspicious person near the entrance of Goose Creek Primary School.
The school administration determined that it would be in the best interest of the students and faculty to put the school in administrative lockdown, and allow the Goose Creek Police Department to verify the security of the school and the surrounding area.
Upon completing a thorough search of the school and surrounding area it was determined that the suspicious person was a local resident who happened to be walking past the school.
Officers added that the students and faculty were never in any danger and had no further information to provide at this time.
