ST. STEPHEN, S.C.–For quite some time now, Small Town Restoration has made it a mission to beautify, restore, rejuvenate, revitalize and repopulate the town of St. Stephen and surrounding area.
“We have several ideas for improvements and with funding and volunteers plan to complete these and other projects,” Michele Stosick has previously stated.
According to the Stosick, the group would eventually like to establish some type of recreational facilities and assistance programs for the youth and senior citizens.
“We will be painting, landscaping, remodeling and restoring some of the existing buildings in town in hopes of making the town more appealing to prospective buyers or tenants,” she added.
Of course, all of this takes money. That’s why on April 18th, the organization will host a big yard sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The event will take place at Alice Park on Ravenel Drive in St. Stephen.
This is the second year for the event. Organizers are hoping for a big turnout.
